In 2009, Jean-Claude Ellena gave new density to Terre d’Hermès, by creating Terre d’Hermès Parfum.

OLFACTORY NOTES
A warm, woody fragrance, Terre d’Hermès Parfum combines enveloping cedar and sparkling grapefruit with a bright note of shiso.

THE OBJECT
On the ground side, the bottle is placed on a more present orange H, echoing the increasing nuance of the color of the perfume, which leaves its mark on the earth. On the sky side, the light is reflected on its metallic shoulders.

Once in hand, the Terre d’Hermès Parfum bottle reveals many details: the house’s emblematic saddle nail, the cap that slides to release the spray, etc.
Created by designer Philippe Mouquet, it is inspired by a travel kit bottle, kept at the Emile Hermès museum.

The top notes of the fragrance open with a cocktail of incandescent citrus and warm spicy notes, blending extracts of mandarin oil and Orpur® North African Neroli oil, enhanced by saffron, cardamom and nutmeg. The heart of the fragrance, which gives the juice its excessively desirable appeal, is based on a tantalizing Indian kulfi accord, inspired by an ancient royal concoction prepared for the Mughal emperors of the 16th century: a milky creation, traditionally composed of Himalayan snow combined with notes of pistachio.
